The knowledge and skills of many overseas workers can be very high, but there are differences in the way the technical expertise needs to be applied in Australia. The Course in Electrician – Minimum Australian Context Gap (MACG) provides the Australian Context Gap training to holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) and seeking to work in Australia, and is required to be completed before an Electrotechnology Electrician qualification can be granted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and occupational licence issued.
$6,500.00
This course provides Minimum Australian Context Gap training to holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) for the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor) who then may apply to the relevant Australian state and territory licensing authority for an unrestricted Electrician Licence (or equivalent).
We offer this course in Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory.
For more information on the Eligibility and Enrolment requirements, please refer to the MACG Course Information Guide.
On successful completion of this course a Statement of Attainment will be issued. Participants can then apply with the Registered Training Organisation responsible for issuing the OTSR for the issuance of UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor).
