The Certificate III in Roof Plumbing is a qualification completed through an apprenticeship covering the installation of roof components and drainage systems.
Follow specifications and requirements, including work health and safety, environmental and sustainability, when fabricating and installing external flashings and roof drainage systems.
Plan materials, tools and equipment, prepare the worksite and install piping connections and storage tanks to collect roof water.
Measure, cut and install roof sheets and wall cladding, and select and install insulation.
Check roof structure and identify any battens or structural supports to be relocated, and install, fix and seal roof components.
Safely operate scissor lifts and self-propelled boom lifts and erect, inspect, check and dismantle restricted height scaffolding.

These fees are calculated at a regulated rate of $1.60 per nominal hour. Concession rates may apply for students under 25 or who hold a current Health Care Card or who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Non-funded training will be charged a fee for service cost. These costs will be confirmed prior to the commencement of training. Please enquire for further information regarding FFS or RPL costs.
