Certificate I in construction

The Certificate I in Construction qualification introduces the construction industry, job roles and workplace expectations and allows students to gain the skills and knowledge of various trades within the construction industry.

This qualification is an introduction into the construction industry allowing students to gain the foundational skills and knowledge to begin their career in the construction industry and open a pathway into an apprenticeship. Work safely and effectively in the construction industry while undertaking a basic construction project using appropriate tools, equipment and materials. Read and interpret plans, carry out levelling procedures, measurements and calculations, and estimate and calculate costs for a construction project. Possible Employment Pathways:
