This nationally recognised course, required by the Electrical Safety Office (ESO), provides you with the essential knowledge and skills to run a compliant, efficient, and financially sustainable electrical contracting business.

On successful completion of this course, a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued for the following Units of Competency:

  •  UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
  • UEEEL0040 Develop compliance policies and plans to conduct an electrical contracting business
  • BSBESB402 Establish legal and risk management requirements of new business ventures

​Duration

  • Option 1 – Two (2) Days Face to Face Training on Campus
  • Option 2 – Blended learning.  Online theory completed prior to attending one day face to face training on campus

CSQ – As a Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) registered training supplier, we provide training that is supported by CSQ funding.  CSQ funding is available for eligible electrical workers and other construction workers in Queensland. Refer to our CSQ Funding Page for further details.

Entry requirements

As part of the enrolment process, you will need to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) and Digital Literacy indicator Assessment. This assessment is used for reviewing your suitability for this course.

Course Outcome

Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Australian Trade Training College (RTO 31399)

Where a student has a disability or learning difficulty, assessors will apply Australian Trade Training College reasonable adjustment to ensure that the student is not presented with artificial barriers to progress in the course.

We will provide support to each student’s individual needs, providing additional educational and wellness support required for the student to meet the requirements of their training course.
