This nationally recognised short course equips participants with the essential skills to safely operate breathing apparatus in hazardous, oxygen-deficient, or irrespirable environments. Delivered by experienced Emergency Services instructors, the course aligns with AS/NZS 1715:2009 and Australian WHS legislation, focusing on real-world application and best practice.

As part of the enrolment process, you will need to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) and Digital Literacy indicator Assessment. This assessment is used for reviewing your suitability for this course.

Course Outcome
Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Australian Trade Training College (RTO 31399)
