Automotive

Automotive qualifications offer you hands-on skills and training in an evolving a growing yet changing industry both in Australia and overseas.

Learning about troubleshooting/ diagnosing processes when inspecting and testing electrical, mechanical systems, engines and their drive systems, carrying out service operations on both petrol and diesel vehicles/ machinery and other core skills that can lead to working on light and heavy vehicles, being a spare parts interpreter or an auto-electrician.

Electrotechnology includes the design, maintenance, installation and repair for all electrical and electronic equipment.

The technology stretches across many sectors including mining, manufacturing, ICT and communications, construction, renewables, domestic and commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning.

The Electrical Services industry (a subsector within Electrotechnology) involves electrical wiring or fittings in buildings and other construction projects, and repair and maintenance of existing electrical equipment and fixtures.
