Plumbing – Minimum Australian Context Gap

This course is for overseas workers who want to come to Australia and gain a plumbing licence. Australian Trade Training College delivers this course Australia wide.

Each State has its own requirements as to which units will be completed, so it’s vital that you know which state you wish to locate to.

Identification of any additional streams (Gas, Roof Plumbing, Mechanical, Water, Sanitary) be advised to our Trade Recognition Assessment team so that the correct units can be provided for you.

This course includes:

  • Training and assessment all competency standard units as required by the state regulator
  • Training and assessment for the required knowledge for Australian Plumbing Standards, conducted via online learning
  • Training and assessment for the required skills component, conducted via ongoing workplace support between employer and assessor via observations.

Who is eligible for the Plumbing – Minimum Australian Context Gap

Entry to this course is strictly limited to holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) for CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing.

It is a requirement that learners be in relevant employment so work hours can be logged and employer verified for completion.

Requirements for completion of this qualification

The requirements for granting this course will be met when competency is demonstrated and achieved for all the competency standard units as required by state regulators.

Pathways from this course by successfully completing the required components above goes toward achieving CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing.
