BSB40320 Certificate IV Entrepreneurship and New Business
The Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business reflects the role of individuals providing self-employment through establishing or operating a business, as well as those establishing a new venture as part of a larger organisation.
Individuals use well developed skills and a broad knowledge base to solve a range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have responsibility for the output of others.
This 12 month course will assist students to develop the skills and knowledge they need to develop a business plan, manage their business’ finances, understand their legal requirements, and implement marketing strategies.
It is mandatory that students interested in studying under the Higher Level Skills Funding Option must be an owner, manager or employee of a small business in Queensland.
Requirements for completion of this qualification
To be awarded this qualification, competency must be achieved in 10 units of competency made up of 4 core units of competency and 6 elective units.
The Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business can be completed online in 12 months. Industry-current trainers will provide dedicated Zoom training sessions and provide one-on-one support to participants via email and telephone throughout the program.
