MEM30205 Certificate III in Engineering – Refrigeration and Airconditioning

This program runs in a blended delivery model as the Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship Program.

  • This incorporates the theory training delivered through the ATTC ‘eHub’ online learning management system. The student has assigned to them a trainer/assessor who will mentor and assist the student to maintain progression in line with the agreed training plan. The student remains at work and with time allocated by the employer, the student does the online work and assessed as they go.
  • When the theory component for one or more units is completed, the trainer/assessor will arrange for an observed practical assessment to be undertaken either on the job at the employers address or worksite, or on campus at the Training Centre at Scarborough.
  • To further assist students, tutorial days are available every Monday and Tuesday for students who wish to attend in a face-to-face mode and engage directly with the trainer on any of their subjects currently underway. The tutorial days occur on site at the Scarborough Campus of the ATTC.
  • A final assessment (Capstone) of their course will occur either at the Campus facility or at a suitable negotiated location/worksite between the trainer/assessor, the student and the employer.
